I'm getting the feeling that Ireland isn't the place to go to get away from dreary Halifax weather...
It is, after all, the Emerald Isle, and it gets its name because it is very green, which it is because it is very wet. On the odd day in the year when it is dry, the locals walk to the pub. The rest of the time they drive. The Irish are great storytellers partly because it is usually too wet to do anything else but sit round and talk.
